  Who is Ghada? Her music? Her talent?

Ghada is known to be smart, interesting, classy, cute, a strong character with a great sense of humor.  Ghada was born in Beirut, Lebanon.  She comes from a family with great talent.  Her father and cousins were known to have great voices. However, their ties to the family traditions have prevented them from pursuing a career in the music. 

Ghada was a very energetic child.  She was loved by her neighbors, friends and her teachers at school.  Ghada used to sing with her sisters all the time at home.  At the age of eight, for the first time, she joined the singing program called ‘3ashara 3la 3ashra  on national Lebanese Television, where she sang the legendary Egyptian Artist’s Oum Kalthoum’s “Inta Oumry”.  Since then, Ghada continued to perform and win at the various galas and special music programs for children, where it was noted that Ghada has a voice of her own, that is energetic with great sensations and fine technical capabilitie

With her extraordinary talent, Ghada shined at the age of eleven, when she won the singing contest at the radio station “Eza3et Al Nujum”.  Her presenting abilities, won her the first job offer at the radio station as a presenter of children programming.  She named it “Dounia Al-Atfal” – “Children World”.  The program was very successful and it was a great opportunity  for Ghada to step into the media world.

Ghada started to learn music with high profile instructors in Lebanon, and then she joined the "Institute of Music” in Beirut to study the Arabo Andalusian music, vocal and music theory.  After immigrating to Canada,  Ghada was accepted in Canada’s capital at Carleton University, where she took a double major in music and commerce.

Ghada is a very dedicated professional.  After working for five years in the computer industry, she moved on to pursue her ongoing passion for the music industry.  Ghada’s music achievements continued with her return to Lebanon, where she launched her first music album, which was produced by Master Melody Production.  Her Compact Disc was a joined CD with the Super Star of Future TV, Artist Ammar Hassan.   Later on, the Duo was invited to perform in a special episode called “Tarab 3ala Altalab”, which was hosted by the star Sullaf Al-Fawakhergi at Orbit TV in Lebanon in may 2006.  Ghada and Mr. Ammar Hassan each sang several songs and they ended the program with a joint song “Haga Ghariba”  which was originally sang by the greatest Egyptian Artists “Abd El Halim and Shadia”.

After the release of her CD, Ghada was invited to the Fourth International Alexandrian Festival, which took place in July 2006 in Alexandria, Egypt.  Artists from forty two countries were part of this prestigious event, where Ghada won the special jury prize honoring her performance of her own song “Momken Tinsa”, which was written by the talented Poet, Mr. "Ahmed Mady" and composed by "Nour".  Ghada sang at many historical places in Alexandria with an audience of over 10,000 people and was awarded her prize at the Great Theatre of the infamous legend "Sayyed Darwish" .  Many great, “A List” artists, including Angham, Assi Hillani, Midhat Saleh, Nadia Mustafa, Nicol Saba and wonderful composers such as Mr. Amar El Share3y, Mr. Ihsan Al-Monzer and many others were part of this fabulous festival. 

Ghada is working on her second album, with wonderful composers and poets from Lebanon and Egypt.  New to the air waves is Ghada’s beautiful voice echoing on the tracks for Ghada’s own song, “Sadda’tak Wallah”, Lyrics and Music written by Ghada with the first of a series of music videos produced for Ghada in the United States by Avrio Filmworks and directed by veteran Producer / Director, Mr. Michael Derbas.
